A small, clever object: scissors and a box cutter in the same body, with a slider on the handle that toggles between modes. In cutter mode the main blades stay closed and a 3mm blade emerges from the tip — exactly enough to slice open a cardboard box without going through whatever's inside. Slide further and the full scissors blades open up for paper, washi, tape, tags. Slide back to lock and everything retracts safely into the body. One-handed switching, no cap to lose.
