A water brush is exactly what it sounds like: a brush with a built-in water reservoir. Fill the barrel, squeeze gently, and water flows to the nylon tip. No water cup, no rinsing between colors. It's how you paint watercolor on a train, in a park, at your kitchen table at 11pm.
The Petit is Kuretake's smallest, most pocketable version. The brush tip stores inside the barrel for travel, the body has a lightly pebbled grip, and the medium-fine tip handles detail and small washes equally well. Works with traditional pan watercolors, water-soluble pencils, and any of the Gansai Tambi sets. Self-cleans as water flows through.
